The challenge
IMOG, a key player in waste management, needed to upgrade its fire protection system to match the demands of a new sorting installation.
With increased operational complexity came higher fire risks. A robust solution was essential: sprinklers, automatic monitors, and a foam extinguishing system to ensure safety and compliance.
Our solution
ARCSOM collaborated with Indulec, executing the project as a subcontractor for Crea Construct, to deliver a fully integrated fire protection solution. Leveraging their expertise in automation and control systems, ARCSOM played a crucial role in ensuring effective coordination and implementation.
To provide a tailored solution, ARCSOM followed a structured approach:
- Analysis of the schematics – Studying and analyzing the technical schematics to ensure optimal system design.
- Development of the source code for both the PLC and the HMI – Designing and coding the software for the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and the Human-Machine Interface (HMI).
- Conducting detailed testing at the internal facility – Performing extensive testing at ARCSOM’s premises to verify functionality and reliability.
- Implementation of the installation at the client’s site – Commissioning the installation at IMOG’s location.
- Extensive testing of the installation on-site – Conducting thorough testing on-site to confirm performance and operation.
- Post-installation support and maintenance – Providing ongoing support and performing any necessary maintenance after the installation.
Indulec handled the electrical installations necessary for the system's operation, while Crea Construct managed the structural and logistical aspects of the project.
“It is fascinating to work on fire safety. Programming and troubleshooting the remote control shows immediate results and provides a great sense of satisfaction.”

The result
IMOG’s fire protection system is now smarter, safer, and ready for the future. With the sprinkler system fully operational since the end of November, the site is equipped with a high-performance suppression network that ensures compliance and efficiency.
The project included the installation of:
- 1 Main PLC
- 6 Remote I/Os
- 4 Motor gateways
- 3 HMI
- 1 Remote controller
The successful collaboration with Indulec and Crea Construct delivered an integrated fire safety upgrade. IMOG can now rely on a robust system tailored to its evolving operational needs.
